Magic Camera is a real-time style camera, listed in Simplified Chinese as “Magic Camera - 实时艺术相机”. Preview effects while composing. Photo, video and Live Photo image processing happens entirely on your device.

Capture and save

Choose a filter and use Photo / Video at the bottom to switch modes. Captures are saved to Recents in the app by default, not automatically to Photos. Open an item's detail view and choose Save to Photos to export it. Each tap creates another copy in Photos.

Export important work promptly. Deleting the app removes local captures. Deleting a capture in the app does not delete copies exported to Photos; deleting a copy in Photos does not affect the in-app copy.

Free and Pro

The free version includes Original plus Pixel World, Digital Edge, Cel Toon, Ink Wash and Sketch, using each filter's default intensity. Videos can last up to 15 seconds each; recording stops and saves in the app when the limit is reached.

Pro is a one-time purchase that permanently unlocks all styles, intensity controls, recording without the free time limit, and Pro filters and features added in future versions. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Recording duration is still affected by storage, device temperature, battery and system interruptions.

Intensity and Live Photos

Pro users can adjust each filter's intensity independently, and the app remembers the last setting. The white dot on the slider marks the default. Passing that point gives a light haptic. Reset all intensities in Settings.

Live Photos are off by default for faster capture. On supported devices, enable Live Photos in Settings and touch and hold an item in its detail view to play. If processing fails, the app shows a message and keeps a still photo where possible. Saving to Photos exports a Live Photo; sharing through the system may send the receiving app separate photo and video files.

Restore purchases and payment questions

After reinstalling or changing devices, use the original purchasing Apple Account and choose Settings → Restore Purchases. Restoring Pro does not recover deleted local captures. If a purchase is pending approval, wait for Apple to confirm it instead of paying repeatedly.

If the product is unavailable, check your connection and App Store sign-in, then retry. For Apple purchase history, refunds or payment questions, visit Apple Purchase Support. Refunds or revocations update Pro access without deleting existing captures.

Permissions, heat and interruptions

If the camera will not open, check camera access in iOS Settings. You can record without audio if microphone access is denied. If saving to Photos fails, check add-only Photos access and storage. Captures still in the app can be saved again or shared.

Complex filters, Live Photos and long recordings increase device load. If the device gets warm, reduce quality, turn off Live Photos or pause capture. Calls, backgrounding or low storage may end a recording. Read the app's message and check Recents.
