1. Scope

This policy covers the Pipe Panic app and this website. The game does not require a developer account and includes no advertising SDK, third-party behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking. Core gameplay works offline.

2. Progress and iCloud

Level progress, best scores, earned tools, equipment preferences, titles, challenge records, resumable challenge sessions and settings are stored on your device. When iCloud is enabled and available, game records and preferences needed across devices are stored in your private Apple CloudKit database for syncing and restoration. Some device settings, such as sound settings, remain local.

Sync uses an Apple-provided account identifier to separate saves and resolve conflicts. The game does not read your Apple Account password or send cloud saves to a developer-operated server.

3. Game Center

Apple provides Game Center authentication and leaderboards. The game submits eligible Challenge and Endless scores with related stage information. Leaderboards may display the player nickname, avatar and scores provided by Apple. Manage your account and visibility in your device’s Game Center settings. In-game titles are currently separate from Game Center achievements.

4. In-app purchases

Apple StoreKit handles purchases and restoration. The game checks Apple-signed transactions and revocations to determine Full Unlock access. The developer does not receive your card details or Apple Account password, and does not trust a self-reported purchase flag from a cloud save. Apple manages payment records and refunds.

5. Diagnostics and support

Apple or TestFlight may provide crash reports, test feedback or usage diagnostics to the developer according to Apple’s rules and your diagnostic-sharing settings. These help investigate reliability issues. If you email support, we receive the address, description and attachments you choose to provide. We use them to respond and resolve the issue, retaining only reasonably necessary records after handling your request.

6. Retention and your choices

Local records remain until overwritten, reset or deleted. Uninstalling normally removes local app data, but does not automatically delete iCloud saves, Game Center records or Apple purchase records. Check your device’s iCloud storage management for available cloud-data deletion options. Before removing a cloud save, stop syncing on other devices so a local copy is not uploaded again. 7. Website and third-party services

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages. We add no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies, and provide no contact form. GitHub may process access logs, including IP addresses, for security and service operation. Email links open your mail app. Apple and GitHub process service data under their own policies: Apple Privacy Policy and GitHub Privacy Statement.

8. Children, updates and contact

The game does not ask players to provide a date of birth or other sensitive personal details. Minors should obtain a guardian’s permission before purchasing or sending support information. We will update this policy and its date as features or services change.
